PIN and recovery code

Change your own PIN, keep the recovery code safe, and get back in when a PIN is forgotten.

This guide is for RoboBill 0.2, coming November 2026. Today's release is 0.1.1.

F2
Save the new PIN or make a new code
Ctrl+P
Print the recovery code
F8
Forgot PIN, on the sign-in screen

The keys shown are the default keys; Utilities > Keys in RoboBill can change them.

How to

Change my PIN

  1. Open Utilities > K, then P.
  2. Type your current PIN, then the new one twice.
  3. Press F2.

Forgot PIN, with the recovery code

  1. On the sign-in screen press F8.
  2. Choose Recovery code; type it, your name and a new PIN twice.
  3. Press F2, then print the new code shown.

Forgot PIN, by email

  1. On the sign-in screen press F8.
  2. Choose Code by email and press Send code.
  3. Type the code from the owner's email and a new PIN twice, then press F2.
