- In Tally: Gateway of Tally, Export, Masters (XML).
- In RoboBill: Utilities, Tally, Import from Tally. Check the preview: every row says Add, Already here or Problem.
- Import, then compare RoboBill's trial balance with Tally's.

Questions
Can RoboBill make a Tally backup file?
No. Tally's backup format is private and changes between releases, so RoboBill makes Tally's own XML import files instead. In Tally the CA creates a company and imports two files; a match report says what the trial balance and stock summary must show.
Which Tally releases does it work with?
Tally's XML import has worked the same way from Tally.ERP 9 to the current TallyPrime, and RoboBill uses only that format.
Does it sync both ways with Tally?
No. RoboBill's books stay the master. A change your CA makes in Tally stays in Tally, so two programs never fight over one bill.
