Tally: company pack, send and import

Keep your CA on Tally without retyping. Make a Tally company pack (Tally's own XML import files with a match report), send bills straight to TallyPrime on the shop network, set Tally's names, or import masters from Tally.

This guide is for RoboBill 0.2, coming November 2026. Today's release is 0.1.1.

The keys shown are the default keys; Utilities > Keys in RoboBill can change them.

How to

Make a pack for the CA

  1. Open Utilities > X > P.
  2. Set From and To and press F2.
  3. Give the zip to the CA. Its README lists the TallyPrime steps.

Send to Tally

  1. In TallyPrime, open the company and turn on F1 Help > Settings > Connectivity > TallyPrime acts as Server.
  2. In RoboBill open Utilities > X > S, set the dates and press Check with Tally (dry run).
  3. Press F2 to send. Each bill shows Created, Changed or Refused.

Move from Tally

  1. In Tally: Gateway of Tally > Export > Masters (XML).
  2. In RoboBill open Utilities > X > I and choose the file.
  3. When it says Ready, press F2.
