The payment box

Takes the payment when you save a new tax invoice or retail memo: cash, card, UPI, credit or a split. It shows how much change to give.

This guide is for RoboBill 0.2, coming November 2026. Today's release is 0.1.1.

The keys shown are the default keys; Utilities > Keys in RoboBill can change them.

How to

Exact cash

  1. Press Enter on the empty item line.
  2. Press Enter. The bill saves with no change.

Cash with change

  1. Type the cash the customer gave in Cash received.
  2. Press Enter. The screen says how much change to give.

Part cash, part UPI

  1. Press 5 for Split.
  2. Type the cash part and press Enter.
  3. Press Enter on the empty UPI part: it takes the rest and saves.
